Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your mobile number, which you use to log in with a one-time code (OTP).
• Your name and delivery or pickup addresses, including pincode.
• Your orders, rentals, plan, Boo Coins, sell and donate requests, and messages you send us.
• Payment status and references from our payment partner. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login details.
• Basic technical data such as browser type and the pages you visit, kept in our server logs for security.

Why we use it

• To create your account and log you in.
• To deliver, pick up and exchange toys, process payments and refunds, and keep the records the law requires (for example GST invoices).
• To contact you about your orders and rentals, including reminders before a toy is due back.
• To keep the service safe and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages without your consent.

Who we share it with

• Our payment partner (Razorpay), to process payments and refunds.
• Our SMS partner, to send your log-in codes.
• Delivery partners, who receive only the name, phone number and address needed for a delivery or pickup.
• Our cloud provider (Amazon Web Services, Mumbai region), which hosts our website and data in India.
• Google Analytics, which tells us how the website is used (pages viewed, toys added to a cart or bag, orders placed). It receives no names, phone numbers or addresses.
• Government authorities, when the law requires it.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you logged in and remember your cart, toy bag and saved pincode; the site doesn't work without them.

We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand which pages and toys help families most. They don't identify you to us, and we do not use advertising cookies. You can switch analytics off for this browser here:

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is active. Order, payment and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually 8 years). Log-in codes expire within minutes.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw a consent you gave, by writing to support@toyboo.in. We will reply within 30 days. Records we must keep by law are kept until that period ends.

Children

Our accounts are for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

Your data is stored in encrypted form in India, our website uses HTTPS, and access to it is limited to the people who need it to serve you.
